| Guidelines for Placement of Flowers and
Wreaths
So the high standards of Llano Cemetery and Mausoleum
will continue to be maintained, the Board of Directors hAS adopted
these guidelines governing the placement and removal of flowers,
wreaths and decorations on property in the cemetery. Every attempt
is made to work with family members and to be respectful of individual
and religious traditions.
1. All flowers in ground-level reversible vases
are permitted throughout the year.
2. Potted plants above ground are not allowed.
3. Special Days – artificial flowers, wreaths,
potted plants and baskets may be placed on property on Valentine’s
Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Memorial Day
and anniversaries. Placement may be made during the week before
these days and will be removed by the grounds keepers, if not picked
up by the family, on the fifth day following the occasion.
4. Christmas wreaths and winter grave decorations
may be placed any time after December 1st and will be removed by
the grounds keepers on January 15th, if not picked up by the family.
5. These guidelines do not apply to the Pantheon
Mausoleum or Garden Mausoleum; however, the Cemetery reserves the
authority to remove any floral designs, flowers or decorations if
they become unsightly.
6. The Cemetery reserves the authority to remove
any unsightly floral designs, flowers or decorations on ground property.
7. Planting Privileges: Planting of flowers, shrubs
and trees is allowed upon the approval of the General Manager or
Grounds Superintendent. Lots owners are reminded the perpetual care
of the Cemetery does not include trimming, pruning or cultivating
private planting on burial property. It is the Cemetery’s
obligation to remove any planting that becomes unsightly.

be made to the General Manager or Grounds Superintendent.
