Think About This For Your New Year’s
Resolution

Share the story of your family members who are at Llano Cemetery.

For a year how we have pursued a project called Share the Story, the goal of which is to preserve the histories of those interred at Llano.

“I want encourage people to set aside one hour sometime in the coming month to write down the story of someone they love who is at Llano,” said Carol Lovelady, project coordinator.

“Think of it as a gift to the person who is no longer with you, a gift to keep their memory alive.”

Every story will be accepted.  “We want to begin to build a huge, rich collection.  We want to have a wonderful resource.  If we don’t do it now, it might not get done.”

Stories should be approximately 400 words and are to be typed or neatly printed.  There is no deadline for submission. Stories may be dropped off at the cemetery office or mailed to:
